Nazarene Compassionate Ministries

Home or abroad the needs are great and our church has always tried to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting world. Here are some of the ways we participate locally.

Crisis Care Kits

Each year we prepare crisis care kits for the International Church of The Nazarene to distribute in areas affected by disasters, natural or man-made.

Care Kits Itemized List

  • 1 Shampoo (12 to 19 oz.)
  • 2 Bars of Soap (Bath size or larger)
  • 1 Toothpaste (4.0 to 6.4 oz)
  • 3 Toothbrushes in original packaging
  • 1 Fingernail clipper
  • 1 Sturdy hair comb
  • 2 Hand towels
  • 4 Pocket-sized pkgs. Kleenex
  • 1 Beanie Baby-sized stuffed toy

Place all items into a 2-gallon zip-lock bag.

Feed My Sheep

On the second Sunday of each month our church collects non-perishable food and toiletries for some of the residents at Jarrett Terrace.

Food Voucher Program

In place of a on-site food pantry, monetary contributions are given by the church family to support a voucher program at Save-A-Lot for those that stop by the church seeking help. Recipients must have a picture ID to receive aid.
